Ministry of Prose: making words work for your business

One in a semi-regular series of ponderings, musings and contemplations on the interaction of words and psychology in business. Just don't call it a blog...

Delayed for a good reason

July 2014

My blog is a little late this month (i.e. last month), but that's because I've been busy.

I had the idea for this writing business less than a year ago, and started properly chasing work about nine months ago. For the first couple of months things were a bit quiet, after which it took off. I'm now as busy as I want to be, with more leads in the pipeline for later this year.

Every client I've signed up is still a client today.

I could go into great detail about my business philosophy and why it works, but an old friend of mine did all the hard work for me some time ago, albeit for design work rather than writing. So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Bob Cree.

Normal service will be resumed next... erm... later this month.

Alex Cruickshank is CEO and Chief Wordsmith at Ministry of Prose and has to get back to work now.
